Important: This is functional data required for MacTiler to operate, not behavioral or marketing analytics. We do NOT collect usage patterns, feature usage statistics, or behavioral data.

1.3 Payment Processing

Purchases are processed through Polar. When you purchase MacTiler, Polar handles all payment processing. The following is collected:

• By Polar (payment processor): Credit card details, billing address, and payment information
• Shared with Simplifunner: Customer email, name (if provided), transaction ID, purchase amount, and date (to fulfill your order and send the license key)

Important: Credit card details and payment information are processed directly by Polar and are never stored or accessed by Simplifunner. The following data is NEVER collected:

• Behavioral or usage analytics (which features you use, when, or how often)
• Marketing or advertising data
• Information about which specific applications you use or window names

3.3 Polar (Payment Processing)

All purchases are processed by Polar. When you purchase MacTiler, your credit card and payment information is processed directly by Polar and is never stored or accessed by Simplifunner. Polar shares basic transaction details (customer email, name, transaction ID, amount) with Simplifunner to fulfill your order. Polar is PCI-DSS compliant and SOC 2 certified. The following practices are NOT performed:

• Selling personal data to third parties
• Sharing data with advertisers or marketing companies

• License data: Retained in Firebase for the lifetime of your license to enable activation and validation

MacTiler's data collection philosophy:

• Essential functional data only: We collect only data necessary for MacTiler to function (license management, fraud prevention, customer support)
